The Josh Weiser Community Service Award is presented at a College Hill Forum meeting.  This award  was established in 1987 to honor a long-time College Hill volunteer, H. Joshua Weiser, Jr., well known throughout College Hill and Cincinnati for his creative leadership and dedicated service in many facets of community life.  The purpose of this award is to recognize those who have provided outstanding volunteer leadership to College Hill, and to encourage others to serve the community in the future.

Criteria are: volunteer service, without receiving pay or gratuity, directly benefitting College Hill.  The nominee need not be a resident of College Hill, nor a member of a College Hill  organization.  Neither race, religion, nor sex shall be a consideration.  Length of service will be a major factor, but not necessarily the sole determining factor.  Multiple nominations for the same person shall not be a factor.

The purpose of the NSP Grant is to fund resident-controlled projects, improve the leadership capacity of Community Councils, and recruit, train, and increase the productivity of volunteers.
