The College Hill Traffic and Pedestrian Safety Task Force invited Melissa McVay, Senior Engineer DOTE, to attend one of their weekly Zoom meetings on November 17, 2021. At the meeting, Mel shared details on the 2022 Pedestrian Safety Program. It was a very informative and extremely inspiring presentation! She shared details and guidelines on how to apply for a limited-funding opportunity for specific infrastructure tools that have been found to be very effective in calming traffic and improving pedestrian safety. A recording of her presentation is posted below. The below recording is only about 7 minutes long, but the full recording is just over 45-minutes long and includes a highly engaging Q&A session. If you would like access to the full recording, please send an email request to trafficsafety@colleghillforum.com.
